Celebration Events Are On! Join Us May 19-20, 2012!
The activities will be even bigger and better next spring! Plan to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event with your friends and neighbors!
Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2012 are the new dates for the Grand Reopening Celebration! Event specifics will be announced in the spring, however event planning and fundraising continue!
We need your help!
The Lake Champlain Bridge Community is an unfunded community organization that was created to plan and lead the public celebration festivities. We're now raising monies and asking for volunteers. The involvement of local businesses and residents will directly correlate to the success of the celebration. Visit the "Join Our Community" section of this website for more information on how you can help.
It's been a difficult time for local businesses, area residents and daily commuters, and as a community we eagerly look forward to the day when we can again easily cross Lake Champlain! We hope you'll be there to celebrate with us.
Crafters & Artisans Wanted!
There will be nearly 100 booths located between two tented locations on either side of the bridge. Space is limited and vendors local to Lake Champlain will be given priority to participate. Each state's vendors will be sited in their home state at either the Crown Point State Historic Site or Chimney Point State Historic Site/adjoining private property. If you are interested in learning more and submitting an application, download the documents here.
